From the Ashes Art Exhibition is an intersectional feminist public art exhibit, showcasing artist interpretations of realities faced by those who identify as women in Canada. Featuring the work of women artists, the aim is to educate, by displaying subject matter, meant to encourage reflection while most importantly, inspiring efforts to create a diverse, equitable community, striving to end violence against women. From The Ashes will be an immersive and accessible artistic experience, that is not only thought-provoking but that also inspires hope!
