“My goal is to capture the fleeting impressions and memories
of daily life.”
The vagaries of war, life passages and love have led family members from Britain, India and Latvia to relocate in Canada. The wonder of that diversity, coupled with our remarkable environment, inspire me to recreate small daily moments of wonder.
The media varies – ink, fibre or paint – all are means of reminding myself of split-second moments and daily surprises. Important to me personally, I hope some of these images remind others of tiny memories at the edges of their minds.
